Workshops on request
Are you a data steward organising a workshop for PhD candidates? Is your research group interested in learning more about research data management? The research data management support team organises tailor-made presentations and/or workshops on request, about a wide range of topics, including (but not limited to):
- General research data management – data management practices and plans, data searching and reuse, data archiving and publishing, and data curation.

For in-depth coverage of research data management and associated topics, we recommend registering for the Research Data Management course.
Dates & times
We are flexible, both in terms of topic(s) covered and the duration of the presentation and/or workshop. Requests must be received at least 6 weeks in advance of the intended date.
Practicalities
Would you like us to give a presentation and/or workshop? Please, email data@wur.nl with the following information:
- The audience – e.g. students, PhD candidates, researchers, data stewards, a mixed audience;
- Whether it’s a presentation and/or workshop and its preferred duration;
- The topic(s) or question(s) you would like to have us to address;
- The day + time of your choice;
- On campus (+ where when already known), online, hybrid;
- Contact person(s)
We will review your request and get back to you within two weeks.
